Does the little box by the hobs beep while you're cooking? That's just the stoveguard letting you know it's getting hot!

The stove guard is designed to cut the power in case your oven or hobs overheat. So you can't fall asleep with a pizza in the oven or go to the shops while your food is cooking!

Watch the video below to see how it works.

By pressing the button on the box when it starts beeping (pre-warning), you get 10 more minutes before it starts beeping again.

NB! If you have an apartment with an old kitchen (no oven) and only hobs, you have a timer you can turn on to make the hobs work.

What do you do if you didn't have time to press the stove switch and the power was cut off?

  • Switch off the appliance (all switches to 0)
  • Press the button on the stove guard (this will reset the power supply)
  • Switch on the switch (heat) again
  • You can continue your gastronomic journey
