Before you return the keys/leave your apartment, you must ensure that it is empty and spotlessly clean according to our standards, see link to guidance below. Remember, there's a new student moving in just a few hours after you!

An employee from Anker will check your apartment after you have moved out/delivered the keys, and if we then have to order extra cleaning because you were not thorough enough, you will be invoiced. In other words, you do not have the opportunity to come back to correct the discrepancies, so follow our instructions and it is quite impossible that you may have forgotten something.

 

Remember to empty your mailbox and your storage unit (if you have one).

 

The cleaning department at Anker Studenthousing does not offer final cleaning. If you do not want to do the cleaning yourself, you can hire a cleaning company or ask friends and family.

We recommend that you start the cleaning 7 days before you move out. Cleaning out of the apartment often takes much longer time than you intended, so it can be a good idea to start early with the shower zone, the oven, defrosting the freezer, etc.
