It's really quite easy to avoid fees, just follow the house rules!

However, for some, this can be a challenge. To ensure the safety and well-being of everyone, certain rules and guidelines have been set out in the house rules that must be followed for the good of the community.

When you sign your tenancy agreement, you also sign that you have read and understood the house rules. In other words, you can't use the excuse that no one told you that you couldn't smoke indoors when you picked up your keys. Understandably so.

The following fees apply in the event of a breach of the house rules:

• Covering or removal of smoke detector: 1750 NOK
• Negligently triggered fire alarm that results in the fire brigade being called out (e.g. fire due to falling asleep or going to the shop/not dealing with smoke development) up to NOK 5000
• Obstruction of emergency exits: 1,000 NOK
• Insufficient cleaning of communal kitchen: 600 NOK
• Late return of keys when moving out (before 11.00 am on the last day of the contract): From NOK 1200,-.
• Insufficient cleaning of the apartment when moving out: NOK 600 per hour commenced
• Leaving trash outside your door or littering of common areas: 600 NOK
• Removal of residual waste or items from the apartment after moving out: NOK 600 per hour commenced
• Smoking in apartment or common areas: 1500 NOK
• Lack of internet equipment in the apartment after moving out: Modem/WiFi device: 1000 NOK and power adapter: 450 NOK

You will receive the fee at the next rent payment and you will receive a written warning by email.
