Are you planning to do a exchange program? We understand that! A semester abroad is an investment in yourself with a huge learning outcome, and we will of course support you in this.

The rental market in Oslo is already tough enough, and it would be a shame if you had to move out and give up your student accommodation in order to manage financially abroad.

We have therefore tried to make it as simple as possible:

• You must find another student who can rent your accommodation while you are away. See "who can stay at Anker Studentbolig" below to see who you need to look for.
• You must sign your own contract with the person in question. I.e. Anker Studentbolig will not sign a new lease with the person you have found. You are still responsible for ensuring that the person in question pays the rent and follows the house rules.
• Subletting must be approved by Anker Studentbolig before you can sublet your home, and an application is sent to studentbolig@anker.oslo.no at least 1 (one)  month before the planned subletting period. The application form can be found below.
   

NB! Any other rental of your student accommodation that is not approved by Anker Studentbolig will be considered a breach of contract according to §14 of the rental contract. §14 in the rental contract. You may not, for example, rent it out on Airbnb or similar when you are on holiday, or in other ways earn extra money from the rental by actually having another place of residence.
