We require an advance payment of approximately two months' rent as security, instead of using a deposit account.

This amount corresponds to the rent for the last two months of your lease, which can be found on the last page of your contract.

  • The prepayment must be paid before you can move into the student residence. Make sure you allow the payment enough time to arrive to our account before contract start date, to avoid delays in getting access to your apartment. Check your Anker Login app to see if the advance rent is registered as paid, and if not, send us a detailed receipt so that we can start getting everything ready for your arrival.
  • Be aware that the advance rent amount can only be used as payment for the very last two invoices of your tenancy. It can't be used for any other purpose, however tempting it is.
  • If you signed a new contract and will continue living at Anker: the advance rent you've already paid will be transferred to your new contract automatically when your new contract takes effect, and you'll only have to pay the price difference (remember that the rent and therefore the advance rent is adjusted each year). In this case you'll have to continue to pay the rent "as usual", since your advance rent won't be used up towards the end of the current contract but transferred to your future contract.
  • If you have lived in the property for several years and your rent has been adjusted upwards without you having paid additional advance rent, you will receive an invoice for the remaining rent due for the last month of the notice period.

You can pay the prepayment via Anker Login or use the bank details found in the invoice on the last page of your rental contract.
