Did you not get your dream home or did your apartment suddenly become too small or too big? Perhaps your finances are not sufficient?

A basic need for all people is a good place to live that suits YOU. We all have different preferences, and this can change along the way. You can apply to transfer to another property at any time, but remember that there is a waiting list. We try to respond as best we can, but even we can't predict the future (amazingly enough) so in most cases we ask you to wait to see if the apartment you have applied for becomes available, unless otherwise is stated in the advert.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT INTERNAL MOVING

  • You are allowed to change apartment once during your period of residence. Changing accommodation depends on waiting lists and whether we have the desired apartment available.
  • Applications for internal moving are not processed during the high season (01 July - 30 September). This is due to the high number of new students.
  • You do not have a notice period on the old apartment. This means that if you receive an offer for a new lease from, for example, 01.12, and you sign it, your old lease will automatically be adjusted to end on 03.12.**
  • There are 3 days during which the contracts will overlap. This is fixed and cannot be adjusted. You will therefore pay the full rent for the new property + 3 days for the old property, so the rent will be slightly higher the month you are moving. You can calculate how much this will cost by using the following formula: (your rent / number of days in the month) x 3 days = extra rent.
  • You must report faults in the property you are moving from. If something needs to be fixed in your old apartment before the next tenant moves in, it must be reported to the janitor.
  • You cannot apply for internal moving due to pests in your home. In this case, you must report it to the janitor so that we can solve the problem quickly and efficiently, preventing the next tenant from having an unpleasant surprise.
  • You must pay extra advance rent if you are moving to a larger property. You will see on the Anker Login app that there is outstanding advance rent that must be paid before you can move into the new property.
  • Remember to clean the property you are moving from properly and follow the cleaning schedule. See the link below for tips and tricks for cleaning.

NOTE: From 1 January 2015, there will be an administration fee (NOK 350) for processing internal moving applications.
