Pests and insects can be unpleasant. Some are harmless and can easily be removed by yourself (e.g., flour mites from dry food), while others are direct pests that needs treatment. We use the company Anticimex for pest control. 

What should you do if you suspect pests in your apartment?

• If you suspect there are pests in your apartment, immediately submit a "Inquiry to the Janitor" through your Anker login-page. We would rather check once too often than not enough, so don't hesitate to report any suspicions. 
• Remember, you can also communicate directly with the maintenance team and ask questions in the request you've submitted if you're unsure about the next steps in the treatment process. The Housing Office is not involved in the treatment procedure.

Typical Pest Trap: Be cautious when buying used beds or using beds/other textile and wood furniture that have been left behind. They must be thoroughly inspected before being brought into the student apartment. If necessary, the furniture must be frozen before being used.
