At Ankerløkka, you will not be able to reset or cancel a false fire alarm yourself, so do not touch or remove the detector! It does not have a button that allows you to manually switch off the alarm. The alarm is digital and the security company Securitas and the caretaker department will receive a notification that an alarm has gone off in your home.

Securitas must check that there is no fire in your apartment and then cancel the alarm on the fire panel. If they do not reach your home in time, the alarm will be passed on to OBRE (the fire and rescue service).

So, do not try to stop or remove the detector due to alarm noise. It goes off when the alarm is reset by Securitas/caretaker. In fact, it is so strict that you will be fined and warned if you tamper with or cover up the fire alarm, according to the house regulations. See the price list for the fee.
