Having trouble with your app or iloq key? Don't panic, we're here to help... but make sure you've checked out these steps before calling for help.
Have you lost the door icon in the app?
Enter your 15-digit personalised code in the field provided
Synchronise key in settings: Gears --> Keyless --> Synchronise keys
Are you still losing your key again? Then the app must be deleted with all data: iphone: Go to settings --> General --> iPhone storage --> Find and select the Anker Student app --> tap "delete app" --> reinstall the app in the appstore --> register new key
Android: Hold the app in the menu --> tap the icon and select Clear data --> re-register the key
Not updated to the latest iOS or software?
This could be the reason, but it all depends on the type of mobile phone, and the app should work fine on older versions.
Switch on flight mode
The iLOQ key does not require network access, but if you have poor internet or your mobile phone tries to connect to the wifi network (and switches between 5G and wifi), this may affect access in the app. Switch on airplane mode and get the key in the app to lock the door.
The app won't open?
If restarting the app, switching your mobile phone on/off or putting it in airplane mode does not work, follow the steps in "lost door icon"
Where is the NFC chip in my phone?
All iPhones have the same location of the NFC chip: top by the buddy
Android has different locations, but usually in the centre. Search by phone brand and type, or see the list for Samsung NFC further down

Have you switched to another mobile?
It is common to transfer all data/content on the old mobile phone to the new one, including apps. You may then experience problems with the app and/or re-register the key. It is recommended to uninstall the app with all data via settings and reinstall before registering a new key.
